Q: How many socks are donated?
A: For every pack of socks purchased, a pack of socks are donated. When you buy a pack of the “Thomas” or “Hester”, two pairs will be sent to you and two pairs will be donated to our Troops.
Q: How do the socks get to our Service Members?
A: We have two methods that deliver our SOLE TO SOLE donations to our Troops:
- Every month we will send out a newsletter in which we will have a limited number of socks available to be reserved to send to a deployed Service Member of your choice! Socks are available on a first come/first serve basis with previous customers receiving a 24 hour advanced notice. In order to receive our newsletter make sure to enter a valid email address when making a sock purchase, or you can sign up here!
- In addition to our monthly direct allocations, we will continue to send socks to the Forgotten Soldiers Outreach, Inc. If you know someone who is in need of a care package, make sure to register them on their website.
- Finally, new in May 2018, we started working with Operation Turbo! They have been sending “Boxes of Home” to our deployed troops since 2010. If you or someone you know is in need of a care package, make sure to sign up here . We are always looking for new ways to get our socks to active U.S. Military, so if you have a suggestion, let us know!
Q: Where are the socks made?
A: Our socks are currently being knit in North Carolina. 100% U.S.A Made. Always.
Q: What material are the socks?
A: The “Thomas” & “Hester” are made of high quality UltraSpun Polyester, Nylon & Spandex. Ultraspun Polyester is the best quality polyester on the market. It will pill less, retain it’s shape more, and quickly wick moisture away. The polyester is extremely strong – lasting almost 30x longer than a sock made of typical cotton! Nylon is placed in the heel & toe to reinforce the polyester and our socks are finished off with Spandex in the right spots to give that extra flex to ensure the perfect fit!
Q: Why are there Red, White & Blue stripes on the socks?
A: The Red, White & Blue stripes on the socks have a dual purpose. The first reason is, when you wear them, you will always remember that you are helping supply socks to our active U.S. Service Members. Secondly, since all of our socks are Made in the U.S.A., you can be proud to keep jobs here in America and support the incredible workers who make these high quality socks for all of us to enjoy.
Q: What should I do if I am not 100% satisfied with my purchase?
A: We have tested these socks in every way to make sure they are the best they can be, but if you aren’t happy with your purchase, we will make it right. Guaranteed.
