IMPROVISE, ADAPT AND OVERCOME
Hello, SOLEDIER SOCKS family! As most of us are settling into our “new normal” there is no denying that these are challenging and uncertain times we all find ourselves in. I am certainly not an expert on infectious diseases so I won’t pretend to know all of the answers. What I will say is that I am choosing to keep a positive mindset during this time. The Marines have a slogan: Improvise, Adapt and Overcome. It is a mindset that pulls them through any physical, mental or spiritual hardship. I say this slogan aloud almost daily, and find it akin to a good “reset” button. These times are unprecedented, and they are hard – but they are temporary. I’m confident that as a society we will see a lot of growth on the other side of this!
A little update about where the company stands at this time: SOLEDIER SOCKS is still open for business and shipping daily. (One of the perks of being a small business and working out of our home!) I want to assure you that we are taking every precaution to ensure your safety at this time including, but not limited to, sanitizing our work station in between each shipment. We are following all CDC guidelines and are staying up to date on any new information that is released.
The support you have shown us during this time has been nothing short of incredible! Because of you, we will be able to fulfill all of the outstanding requests in our donation queue this week. In addition to those, we have been able to donate 200+ pairs of socks to doctors and nurses on the front lines of the Coronavirus pandemic – thanks to your Ryan Weaver “Heroes” sock purchases. Our goal is to ensure their feet are as comfortable as possible during their long shifts saving lives! We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again – “people over profits” – especially during a time like this!
We wish you and your loved ones good health and peace of mind during these challenging days.
All the best, Elle
